About to offer wedding photography for the first time. It's for an fellow church member so my pricing is not very high. Anyway, the questions I have are these. In your basic package how many pictures do you offer and what sizes? Do you include a cd with all the good pictures or do you give them the option to order pictures from you? On PP, what is your favorite or most used photoshop action? I have a few that I'm using but wondering if there might be something better.

Best thing to do is check around your local competition and browse their sites and packages. What works for me may not work for your area. Also, it would help if you specified your location in your profile.

But in any case, I offer no set number of pics. Don't do that. Whenever someone asks me how many pictures I take, i say, "A complete set".
I include the CD, and I also have an ordering site.
In PP, I use Lightroom most of the time. The action I use the most is probably Kubota's Chocolate Syrup.

Thanks Lloyd, I am in East Texas and I this is the first time doing a wedding so my price is fairly cheap. When you say a "complete set" what do you mean? To the customer it could mean a print from every picture you took or 20 8x10 30 5x7 and 100 4x6. I'm just wondering how many pictures you actually print for the customer for the basic package. You do include a cd with all the pictures that they can use to make their own prints? I didn't look at the local comp. because they usually have a price with total coverage time and don't really go into detail how many prints they offer. The price doesn't matter because I'm offering a very low price for the service.
I will also check out the Chocolate Syrup action.
