oh gosh, I just watched a scary movie for the first time since I was 12. (I mean, I've seen a re-run of Friday the 13th SINCE I was 12 but NO OTHER scary movies since then...)

We had a little excitement just now. The guy across the street hasn't been seen or heard from in several days.... his friend came over to check on him but the house was dark and closed up. Skip went over and helped break in.....the guy was dead on the hallway floor. Police and fire dept are here now. (Yes, I went inside for a peek myself. After all, he was my neighbor for the last 7 1/2 years!)

wow!! Poor guy. Wow...to die and stay unnoticed for days....that's really sad!!

RRTP...you have an official responsibility here....you KNOW I don't leave without telling you...SO if you don't hear from me...send a paramedic!

I am back... had to save the world :-D

LOL...it's so funny imagining you saying "off to save the world again"....and I don't know why it cracks me up but it does!

Nice Mark. I love the bee shot and the mosaic the most but they are all nice.

The radio at the net admin's house went down and he is in Ontario, OR (6 hours away) right now - so we had a good time breaking into his house :-D

so by saving the world, you meant B&E?

timbernet wrote in post #4242245 (external link)
Our way was easier: had the net admin call the local locksmith and told him to call City Hall to verify that it was real. Then we met them there.

Took ~5 seconds to pick the doorknob lock and then ~5minutes to pick the deadbolt.

LOL I WANNA PICK LOCKS!!

I don't know...don't you have to choose btw. the "plane, trains (and for you movie addicts) automobiles"

because that might make it harder (unless you can find two shares for transportation things...that won't get kicked back).

LOL I WANNA PICK LOCKS!!

 My mom used to work for Baldwin, maintaining their displays in hardware stores. Part of her training was to learn to pick locks. How many moms do you know who used to carry a set of lock picks with them on a regular basis?

that's too funny!!

I learned to pick basic locks when I was young (avert your eyes TD) because my brother was always locking himself somewhere where he shouldn't be...and no one could get him out...so I started practicing and could do every inside door in the house and used to be able to do the front door (he also locked people out) until they put a dead bolt in...now I'm afraid my skill is obsolete

I know what you mean, I am not 100% sound on my choice. I am not to sure if I would submit it.

I would like a bird photo but don't have anything :(

Almost. I figure that guy's been doing it for a lot longer than I have and with higher grade Hassy gear. I do the best with what I got. It ain't much, and the shots aren't all that swell, but I have fun with it. ;)
