Of course, just as I finished writing this it crapped itself after working for 2 solid hours... Hmmm.

I hate when something like that happens.

Permie, I have the stofen. It is easy and works great. I also have a little blow up thingy by Photoflex that I got used one time. Never really used it, but I'm going to start.

You are totally welcome to borrow my stofen if you want to. I'm serious. It's yours if you want it. I only need it today.

thanks, I think I will take you up on that...it's just one less thing I'd need to worry about!

Can someone explain to me why you need a diffuser is you are bouncing?
In someways it seems like you are losing efficiency from the flash with it, thus requiring more output power from the flash.

I like this shot. But that totally looks weird on the side...almost as if someone was trying to make it look like a quilt.

I think it is supposed to be a quilt...the house is abandoned...I couldn't believe the thing on the side...looked totally out of place...

okay, I really need an opinion. I have ONE photo of this scene (well, only one that doesn't have Ed doing something silly in it) but I blew out the highlights in the water (it was so dark there that most of the shots were blurry from too bad shutter speed). Anyway, I attempted to dodge the center water blowouts. Does this work (I'll post a before and after) or is the shot a goner

Permie, I'd say it's definitely a keeper. I like what you did.

BTW...where is that?

Whatcom?

That's the name of the county, IIRC.
