I bought the full version quite awhile back. That's what took my images to the craptacular level. Before that they just sucked.:lol:

they don't suck...I don't know where you got that into your head

That, quite possibly, will be the greatest compliment!

Riley, first of all, that's TMI. Second of all, you're almost an adult. Let's think of a new way to express our bodily functions, shall we?:rolleyes:

We were in a food joint for lunch today, and we were talking about the 40d's problems, and I asked Scott if he could get rid of the CA by PPing... and then realized wow in a public context, that sounds wrong.

Lisa, thanks for sending the 1.4 tc to let me try it out.

Lisa, curse you for sending the 1.4 tc as now I want one ;).

It sure affects the sharpness, not to say it is bad just apparent in comparison to the 300 without the tc. Though it seems to be worse on some shots, maybe I just messed up...

you're welcome :) (smiles sweetly at the thought of another TMS episode happening to a friend near me )

I think it takes a little getting used to because I really don't notice problems with softness...I use it constantly with mine..what I do notice is an increase in CA with either of the tc's...

It isn't so much softness, as rendering details differently, it isn't a big deal, I think the problem in some of my shots was there was some grass in the way :o
