It isn't so much softness, as rendering details differently, it isn't a big deal, I think the problem in some of my shots was there was some grass in the way

Then I do my culling/rating/keywording and synch up the two hard drives again. During the synch, any files I deleted from one machine get deleted from the second. It's at that point that I worry about a backup to an external drive dedicated to backups and to disc.
