If you look well, you'll see my friends a few meters ahead of me in the first shot ;-)a

I saw them. I wish they were a bit clearer (but I realize it's the fog) just because they add a very nice dynamic to the photo.

Lucky guys...

When you are offered the opportunity to work with the latest digital equipment on a location you will probably never visit again; you do not have to think twice! I am talking about an invitation from Canon Europe on a press trip to Kenya with a number of colleagues from the Netherlands and many other countries. No less than 80 journalists from Europe, among them four colleagues from the Netherlands, were flown to Nairobi, Kenya, at the invitation of Canon. In Nairobi small groups were formed to fly to the Borana ranch in the Laikipia area, north of Nairobi and situated by the Mount Kenya. The Canon EOS Safari trip coincided with 20 years of EOS; a unique memorable moment in the digital world!

That's what I thought while taking the shot, but they were walking too fast :o

Mooooorning EVERYONE!!

Fabulous shots to wake up to. Seriously it was like eye-candy this morning.

I love this shot, it's one of the best tiger portraits I've ever seen. BEAUTIFUL!!!

and Greg, these: are so cool!

Thanks Permie, we had a great day. We had a good time on all the rides also. The new Mick Doohan Motocoaster is cool. You sit on/in a replica MotorGP bike that goes on a roller coaster.

They had an injured Wedge Tail Eagle and I got some shot of him also. Wedgies have found that road kill is a easy meal but often get clipped by cars, and the injuries if not immediately fatal mean they wouldn't survive in the wild. So the Wedgies we can see hear in parks are unrestrained as they usually can't fly any more. Will have to process these tonight.

I remember a couple of pages ago someone was talking about workflows etc. I added an attachment that has most of what I do when reviewing new shots etc.

Thanks Greg. The shots are quite noisy, but I didn't want to spend too much time on my computer. So I used batch processing in PS Elements. And I can't include the noise reduction in there :-(

I can't notice the noise, it's not as visible at this size.

Oh well, time to go to work on this fine Monday morning.

I love these! Especially the first one. You should consider entering that one in the book. It's fabulous.
