Fabulous shots to wake up to. Seriously it was like eye-candy this morning.

Agreed! Some very nice shots here today!

Moooooooooorning everyone. I am sitting here eating pizza with my grandson.....his breakfast request, LOL. I had to make a quick jaunt to the store to accomodate him:)

We had the Grandparents over for brunch - Strawberry Waffles! The original plan had my brother and sister-in-law coming over with their son so that all the ladies could compare what they learned scrapbooking. Unfortunately, my nephew came down with a cold and they couldn't join us. We still ate the waffles, though. :D

Here are 2 shots from last week. Hiking in the fog is fun

Very nice shots. We've had lots of fog lately, but I was never anyplace remotely interesting to try to use it shooting.

and Congratulations to David, who's letterbox photo was one of the winners of the SMWYG contest this week.

 Thanks, Permie. That was definitely one of my favorite shots -- it's my wallpaper right now.

... one more thing:

if you look well on the first fog shot, apart from my friends, you'll see that it is in fact a color shot. There is still a bit of green that can be made out in the grass. I didn't do any conversion (unlike the second one which I turned in B&W)

wow, is anyone watching the colts/patriots game? Thus far though it's no score, the colts are dominating!

Neat Lisa,

Why were you not invited? Was it a boys day out or something?

You could have come shot autoX today for me. See rant in TPBM thread.

I believe Princess called just after she got up. We were well into our shoot. She could have joined us had she been so inclined. We were not that far from her Castle.:rolleyes::p

Thanks Jamie :) They left before I woke and when I called they DID NOT extend the invitation so I hung out here. Off to check out rant

Well you should have gotten on your high horse and went a picked her up. You know better than to leave a fair maiden in distress. For shame for shame for shame. Your Knight hood is here by revolked, and your Meany Head status is re-instated.

No problem. You know I would never do that to you. I don't blame you I had to do that to someone early this morning as well.

My bird from today:

At ISO 400 the shutter speed was 1/15 --- so I tossed the Better Beamer on and this was 1/250 @ f/5.6 ISO 400...

Another bird:

And something from yesterday:

(I know I have blown highlights and some dark shadows - but that was part of the effect I added in PP)
