I agree, who cares, it is what it is. I don't judge people on the color of their skin, their religion, or the languages they speak. Why would I judge on something as silly as a post count?

I agree 100%. I will glady donate all my posts to anyone who wants them, does not matter to me:eek: I come to these forums to see great photos and learn from incredible photographers. Thats it, nothing more, nothing less

This is the one post you will squeeze from me for now, just to keep my name from getting too distorted.

Firstly, my vacation from posting was not about having more self-control than Lisa, but more self-control than I previously had with myself. I found I was spending way too much time on POTN, RRTP specifically.

I would actually wake up and the first thing I would do is check RRTP and make a few posts before anything else. While my schoolwork wasn’t suffering too much, it was taking second place to Tupperware.

When the new thread hit and I saw how many posts I posted in such a short amount of time, some of which containing comments of questionable appropriateness I decided to take a break… right now I am/was at 5 days…. So I guess that is a business week.

This wasn’t about post count. This wasn’t about being in the top 10. This was about reallocating my time.

Hopefully I will get a chance this weekend to post my replies to many of the fine conversations that have occurred this past week…

Now off I go again to my pointless homework……

I understand where you are coming from. Back in May I took a hard look at my internet (POTN) usage. I had at the time three thousand more posts than even Lisa  I decided to take a break and spend more time actually taking photos and going places. I stopped checking this board for over a month. It was a great thing for me. Now, I check in here and there, check out the great photos and pick up a tip here and there

Hey Scott...don't ever let us get in the way of homework...we understand priorities...I think you will find that we were just concerned about you...not usual for you to be missing for so long! We can even settle for the occasional..."Hi...I'm still alive!"

I s'pose. Never done that, but I'll give it a shot.

You don't have to change it...I played with it a bit...I think it is just the shade of green in the background...looks a bit funky on my monitor...but I like the shot itself...craptacular and all...;)

Yeah right. :rolleyes::rolleyes::p

For the record, I've personally witnessed taking tons of pics -- frequently! I'm still not sure how she does it in between posting here and harassing me.

What is this about post count and thread ratings again?

1 is the best for the thread right? Highest number and all..... ;)

JUST KIDDING!! I haven't even voted nor do I think it's important enough to lose sleep over.

Scotlet sounds pissed. :p

I have been 'keeping my post count down' too.. not because y'all are unimportant but because I have other things to attend to, I needed to catch up in some stuff. And because primarily, I no longer post in EF/LF. They've completely lost my interest. It is all the same, all over again except for the 200/2.0 IS.

PermaPuddle, Little, FSIL (now promoted to Full SIL.. oh wait, isn't that still FSIL? :D) have a good day and take lots of pics if you can.

Grin.. drink lots of coffee, I cannot imagine you on the Day Itself minus Starbucks. The BEAST will be Unleashed! :D

Ah...Yoda has seen the light....LF/CF have gone totally foolish...if something new comes along...I will look...but people telling the same fairy tales over and over gets kind of old...gotta love the "I've never owned, used or even seen a 24-70, but I know that you have pretty good odds of getting a bum copy of it...I would never recommend that lens to anyone."
