Yesterday I shot these bridal pictures and it ended up being a 4 hour photo shoot with 2 wedding dresses. I didn't care that we went over the session time because this bride and her future husband are flying me out to San Diego, CA to shoot their wedding and a trash the dress session in the ocean. When we were done and about to leave she said, "did you get your plastic strobe thingie". I was like OMG!! my flash! It took it off the camera and set it on the ground because it was getting in the way. That would have been an expensive mistake. Anyway, C&C would be awesome.

Fantastic. My faves are 5 and 8. I also did left my flash on the ground after a shoot. so I feel for you. The good news is that you will never do it again.

not a lot of gear, but I have endless amounts of energy!

2,5,7 and 8 are my faves but I love close ups. I love the yellow in these. Wow 4 hours, I bet you were tired. I am so glad they hired you to fly out with them. You are going to give them some great pictures. Good Job Opie and congratulations on getting this job.

Love these Mrs. Opie, esp. 2 & 5. I'm on the fence about #8 just because she looks kinda uncomfortable. Have fun in San Diego.

For the most part I think these are good. I really really like #2 and #1 as well, but 2 is my favorite of the bunch. I think the only one I'm not wild about is #3. It looks as if you used a flash and it lit up the little branches and leaves in the foreground and it is a little distracting. Otherwise it would be a great shot looking through to her. Maybe going off camera with the flash and close to her would have brought more punch to her. But I do like your work with the rest of them. #8 is another great one... :)

Those are great, very inspiring. #3 - foreground twigs are a bit distracting, but the rest are fantastic, esp 2, 5, 7, 8. Great backgrounds.
Did you shoot these with just the single on-camera flash?
I'm very impressed and I bet the couple will love them.
