6D + TS-E 17, 2x 30 second exposure shift panorama of Miami at night. This is from Rickenbacker Causeway, to the south of Downtown, Miami; one of the best views of the city skyline available down here. This being a 17mm lens, the city looks farther away than it really is; truly, it's very close.

I do so few panoramas that selecting a "best" is easy. This is a view from the Grand Canyon's south rim. Click here (external link) for the 13154 x 3789 full size that's slightly less boring.

I love your last shot Mikey. At the beginning I thought it's a hoar-frost at the top of the frame. :-D
How did you make part of the stars out of focus?

Completely new to pano stitching so please be kind :)

I need to really work on my abilities both with the camera and the software. Using Elements 12 with Photomerge currently. I need to make a very large pano print soon for a project and it's the only way I know to make a large enough image for a 7' wide print. About how massive should I attempt to make the file for a 7' wide pano print on something like canvas? I know much of the detail gets lost when on canvas so it's my safest bet when using my 5d maxing out at 12.8mp images.

Random test shots to learn Photomerge
