Hey Everyone, i am starting my career as wedding photography in Egypt,

in Egypt we are used to having the holy ceremony in the church or a mosque then the reception in a closed hall in a hotel... so it is all by night.

If those are the conditions of bad lighting, a lot of people walking and talking LOL.... and a dark reception and so i think my main things is a good flash... but can i do it with a prime lens too.

Else then that i think the only human things about some wedding in Egypt, is that some people want shots before the cermony and the reception solo in a good hotel, garden. that's wehre i can work... else then that it is just a nightmare for any photographer.

It's all about WHITE BALANCE.

I hate to say it, but if you're starting a "career" and the conditions are as bad as you described, you might want to look into some better equipment. At least use the current setup for back up, but don't expect the flash to fix your lighting woes (especially a single speedlite).

I'm not a pro in anyway here, but unless you've got the vision and composition skills that will totally outweigh your technical skills, I'm thinking you'll find it difficult to shoot with the equipment listed in your signature.

Good luck though! =) Post some pics here when you've got some!

Hello and welcome. Yes I would agree you might have to upgrade to get exactly what you want. Rent better equipment and see the difference for yourself.
Have fun and share the results.
