Took this night shot of the Trevi fountain on my recent September trip to Rome. I much preferred going to the fountain at night rather than during the day. Quite the incredible atmosphere.

I like it, but wish that you had perhaps used some fill flash or other light source on the water in the foreground. Not sure if that was possible, but that's my two cents worth... Thanks for sharing! Thanks for your comments. Yea it is pretty hard to get a decent night shot of the Trevi fountain. That was my first trip to Italy, and Maureen I am so jealous that you are going back. Rome is such an awesome experience. Well I threw my coin over my back into the fountain, so hopefully I will get to return to Rome too one day. Below are a few black and white conversions of some of the fountain statues:   "LIFE! Give my creation LIFE!"

This is awesome! Reminds me of Ben-Hur before they converted it to color (and I'm not even that old). This treatment makes it look very lifelike. Me likey....
