Nothing exciting as far as auto focus, but I posted a couple of shots over in the bird forum. Had I been alone rather than in a group, I could have gotten there earlier and possibly tried some shots of cranes in flight, oh well. This was really my first time out with the Mark III, and I also brought along my 30D for some wide angle shots. It's definitely a transition, learning how things work on the new body. Selecting focus points is a bit different, for one thing, and I had to fiddle around with it for a while. When I later went to pick up my 30D, it felt really tiny! The Mark III body definitely feels more substantial. Can't wait to really put it to the test with eagles in flight next month.
