I never really had the intention of taking portraits because I didn't really have the setup and I have a lot to learn about this.....

My aunt is making a clothing website and she needed pictures (for free of course), so naturally she called upon her nephew to do it....I was really nervous about it because I've never done anything controlled like this.....and of course my family gave 100% authority to me because they think I have "the eye"......that's a little bit of pressure for me....

I tried my best to have the best lighting I could make due with......and considering the circumstances I think I did pretty well (for its purpose)

Great job! I like #3 the best, very pleasing. Maybe you could have move just a tad to the right, but they all are very good, and I am sure will serve your Aunt very well.

Practice, practice, and practice some more, and when you think you have got it right, start over.

They look great! I wish you wouldn't have cut the woman's feet off in #2, but you can see all the clothing and that is what counts I believe.

#1, lighting is a bit harsh camera right (her face and the clothing) but its passable, it works cuz the rest of it is pretty well balanced.
#2 don't care for the pose or prop, but just a personal opinion.
#3 would have been good except for two points, feet were cut off and I would really like to have seen the focus on the face even if the clothing was the main reason for the shoot...you always look at the model first, with her eyes OOF it bugs me. Sorry.
#4 isn't bad. Maybe I'm being nitpicky this evening but I'd be tempted to clone out the cord camera left. Otherwise good!
For a first try you did well! You've got some usable images from the looks of it. Keep it up!

My gear list finally got too long to list under my sig.
