Hello!
I just got back from a weekend in the Eastern Sierras and have a few good shots to show.
All shots used the 17-40L with a Hoya CPL and/or Hoya NDx8, Digital Rebel XT.

I also took a bunch of film photos (gasp!) but have to wait until tomorrow to get some prints made. Gotta love Velvia! Enjoy, and feedback is always welcome:

wow, amazing series! Love the second one with the stillness of the leaves and the motion of them as well.

Also love the ice crystal (I think?) pictures, just lovely.

Thanks for the kind words, everyone! It was a great trip, although coming home to Southern California with all the wind and smoke was quite a shock! :P

What a great set! I too love #2, the chosen exposure of your image lifts it from being "nice" to "great"!

Shame about the foreground trees in #3 (small crib, sorry) and the last one just screams crisp, clear autumn days. Thanks for sharing.

Very nice series. I really like 3,4, & 5. Is #5 ice?

Hello! Thanks again! Stoph, #5 and #6 are both ice on a creek. Couldn't resist photographing the interesting patterns!

I really like the third one and the two in ice. Too bad about the middle tree on the third shot...chop it down! j/k Would like to see the first and last ones a bit more "warmer" though, but that's my preference.

Excellent series, love the petals in the moving water. :)

Seems like it's really cold there already - must be really high altitude
