I'm really new so any pointers will be greatly appreciated.
The first shot i was dissapointed that the minister never looked up from his book. The second is my favorite because of the expresions and the the third I did some post work on. So tell me how I did (not too brutal please :)

1 & 3 are nice classic images, way oversharpened and WAY too big for the web. Use "save for web" and get them under 100kb. #2 is a nice fun image. One thing to perhaps work on is making people comfortable to be themselves and express their feelings for each other while you point a camera at them.

I think these are quite nice. I like the second pix except for the placement of the groom's hand.

Thanks tim & megansmom. I guess are sharpened too much after I resized. Sorry i thought the longest side was supposed to be 800.
One thing that really surprised me was how fast everything goes and i know i need to work on the details a whole lot more!

The pixel dimensions are ok, you just saved them at like 400KB instead of 100kb or less.

Okay I will see if I can fix that. Thanks for the help and by the way I am getting some real inspiration from you site.

these are nice and classic, just as tim said. 2 is looking a little too 'glowy' though... did you add that or was it just really freaking bright? The bride is very beautiful though and you captured her well, though a smile would have been perfect for 3.

Thanks picturecrazy. No actually it was very overcast and at one point during the ceramony it started to sprinkle. I shot them in raw so maybe I can lower the exposure a tad on no2

Thanks for sharing. I would suggest you do a little photoshop work with #3 ----the posts are marked or stained--- fix them to make them solid color on all 3 posts--there is a yellow mark. Also you might want to repair the floor--it looks a little rough--maybe smooth it out.

Nice shots especially for your first try! The first one works fine for me, since the minister isn't the main subject; it doesn't bother me that his eyes are closed.

overcast is actually brutal on wedding dresses. It makes the whole dress light up.
