Shot this mill with my S3 in the TV mode, 0.8 sec, -2 exposure compensation, with an ND8 filter.

C & C is greatly appreciated!

i actually think this would be a better shot if you would crop it right in half and keep the top part. just have a little bit of the rock, but keep the main focus on the mill. also maaybe a touch of contrast and saturation. but a shot with tons of potential.

I actually did take many photos of the crop you described, I just didn't post that view;). I will try bumping up the contrast and saturation and see how it turns out. Thank you very much for taking the time respond!!

Here's my take - rotated clockwise 3 degrees and recropped. I like the downstream pools and rocks, so I left them in - along with the little waterfall under the tree on the left. Too bad they weren't running the mill. Water on the wheel would have been fantastic! Nice picture.

This is stunning, I see so much here. Great POV, you can go anywhere with this exposure. here is my interpretation.

Cool shot! This old place is always a favorite. It would have been nice if the stream was rushing with water but we can't have it all. Still as it is I like your image very much. I went there in May and shot every possible angle I could find. A few are in my gallery's. I figured then it would be a great place to shoot in autumn.

Thank you everyone for your kind comments. For those of you that edited, great jobs!!

I will work on the PP this weekend. My work schedule is busy this week and I just don't have time to fit it in.

I have never been to a place with so many photographers, professionals many of them. Most of them sporting a tripod!

Great composition and colors, but seems a bit faded/bright. I think I'd bump up the saturation and contrast a bit and turn down the brightness a bit. Oh and fix the vertical/horizon.
