Hi All! I've been lurking around here for months and all the advice I've received here has been priceless! I have two weddings booked but they aren't for awhile so I'm trying to get as much practice any way I can until then. I attended a wedding of friends this past weekend and would like some C&C on some shots. THANKS! :D

1. I really liked the preset I used on this one but wasn't sure if it was too blown out.

4. The people
in front of me kind of ruined this shot but I love the expression on the brides face so it may be a keeper?

1, 2, 3 are great -
don't print the stretchy neck #4 though - it's not very flattering.

1 is ok, though I'd pull the highlights back a bit

2 is ok, but maybe clone out the reds on her neck and chin... it makes it look like she has razor burn from shaving. Your processing may have brought out something that wasn't really visible initially.

3 is nice with the midnight sepia, though I'd tone back the effect a bit.

4 there is nothing wrong with the people infront... it's typical for pj shot.... what bugs me is her neck. I don't think she'll like that. I do the "stretchy neck" thing on purpose just to bug and gross my wife out. (Though I call it tree trunk neck)

5 I'm not sure if it's the web compression or what, but it looks really soft. The bokeh leads me to believe you are using the 50 1.8.

I'm guessing your kit consists of the the XT, the 18-55 kit lens, 75-300, and 50 1.8. You will want to invest a lot into better gear if you are going to do some paid shoots. In the meantime, practice and practice and practice even more. Overall, good job.

Thanks for sharing!
