Ever since I sold my 5d and got a 1D MarkII-n I started missing it. I really needed the 1d for sports and I'm very happy with it but I missed the IQ from the 5d for landscapes and portraits. I just found a good deal on a 5d with a BG-E4 grip and it's headed back home. Should be here by Friday. I will be thrilled to have this great camera in my hands again soon. Sorry, I had to tell someone! Looking forward to the next 5d club meeting.

Congrats Joe, I did the same thing. There was things about the 5D that annoyed me but image quality was very nice, having both cameras is the best of both worlds. I'm hoping to pick one up shortly.

I finally got my new baby and went out a couple of days ago to try it out. Below are two reasons why I had to get another 5D. I love this camera. Both shots were taken with 300mm with 1.4 ext.
