A white bee and a weird bug.

I found a white bee and another weird bug I never ran into before, I just started doing bug photos any tips on how I could have made these better?

I have no idea what kind of bug this is but its neat.

Heres my bee photo it was alot bigger then the normal yellow and black bees that were around.

#1 is a cricket (katydid) and #2 looks like a solitary digger wasp (not a bee)

Thanks for the info. Now I know what they are. The yellow and black bees were getting moved away by the Wasp I just thought it was a queen or something, Now to pick up a book of bugs in my region.

good enviroment sh0t of the Wasp - rather smart in its B&W outfit. Not keen on the BG in the Katydid shot.
