This Frejya, her name comes from Norse Mythology: the Goddess of Magic who clocked herself in falcon feathers. She has a bad wing and can not be released. Few falcons are as calm around people as Frejya so she works in the educational side of a great rehab center here in Maine. The Center for Wildlife introduces folks to various wildlife up close so folks see the beauty of these critters and hear the value of protecting the natural world.
