I love the green leaves. Maybe a tighter crop, but the lighting on them is great. Nice textures.

Do what I did.... grab your camera, slap a lens on it, and go shoot a macro specifically for the book.

SOOOOOOOOO hard! I tried to narrow by technical merit, but I suck at technical details

So then, what did you macro specifically for the book?? I may as well just wait to get my new toy to do that.

+1

On a side note...my wife was discussing with our friends how I am spoiled and got my new camera ...anyhow, one of the friends offered to buy my DRebel if the price is right. Only thing is that I don't know what price would be right and I was really wanting to keep the camera...but in reality, it may just end up collecting dust. If I decided to sell, I'd of course include the kit lens, 512MB card, original software, boxes, warranty card, strap and cables. Only drawback is its the silver body and I have already cycled over 9,999 images. Would $250 -$300 be reasonable? This woman I'd sell it to has no experience in dslr cameras and only wants to start into it becuse she has seen some of my images and another friend has the XT (but they use it full auto green box no matter how much I help them).
