I like the butterfly shot Terri (just saw it)...but I think the purple flower has the edge still.

Goodnight Cat.

So then, what did you macro specifically for the book??

The nose of the Jeffrey Effrey. ;)

No advice on the $ of your camera, sorry.

And I really really am off to bed.

Night, Hopeless :)
And, yes I did!

+1

On a side note...my wife was discussing with our friends how I am spoiled and got my new camera ...anyhow, one of the friends offered to buy my DRebel if the price is right. Only thing is that I don't know what price would be right and I was really wanting to keep the camera...but in reality, it may just end up collecting dust. If I decided to sell, I'd of course include the kit lens, 512MB card, original software, boxes, warranty card, strap and cables. Only drawback is its the silver body and I have already cycled over 9,999 images. Would $250 -$300 be reasonable? This woman I'd sell it to has no experience in dslr cameras and only wants to start into it becuse she has seen some of my images and another friend has the XT (but they use it full auto green box no matter how much I help them).

I think that is very reasonable,it makes a great starter kit!

Thanks, Robert :)

Unless the night contingent has radically different opinions, the purple one it is!

That is what I explained to the friend, guess I'll mention that price and see if she bites at $300....I'll go down if necessary.

That's my favorite photo you got of Janet Jackson.

Testimony of a really good lens.

Of course, I'll never be able to look at that photo again the same way..... :o;)

TERRI: Though a bit late, my vote goes for the purple flahr.

I wonder if I'll get snow this year. I was looking at the week's forecast on the Weatherbug a little earlier and saw the overnight low for Wednesday and Thursday is expected to be 28F. I haven't lived in a place where the low dipped below freezing since 1978.
