Me too! I could get use to this working from the home, now. Not a few years ago, but; now it seems pretty nice.;)

So, this Friday I am going to my buddy's wedding. He already has a photographer (his future wife's neice). I have never shot a wedding before, so I am going to work with the photographer (on a non-interference basis) just to see what it's all about. I wouldn't feel comfortable as a primary photographer due to my lack of experience with wedding photography (I mainly shoot sports, motorcycles and my family/friends), but to have the ability to take photos with no expectation to produce anything at the end is very comforting. Even if I only get a couple of good shots, it's not a big deal. This is a learning experience for me. I truly looking forward to it and hope that I can pick up some tips that will help me. As a bonus for my buddy, anything that turns out decent I will give them a copy of. Does anyone have any recommendations for me?

The only rule I know about shooting weddings is "stay out of the wedding forum".

No recommendations, but; this is a great way to get your feet wet and to see if it is a direction you might want to explore further.

I think it is a great opportunity for me. I am very appreciative that my buddy and his future neice are letting me do this. My only real expectation that I have set for this is to learn as much as I can about the process. Other than that, I am just there to have fun.
