Oh, and like I said, the pics from the trip are online now. They're here (external link).

Very nice, Lonnie. The Joshua Trees look great, I don't remember them looking that thick when I was out there. There is one word that needs to be fixed on image 077, didn't see anything else though. Interesting grave markers in Johannasburg. I like the ore car. Oh and the picture of the older lady, sorry can't remember the name seconds after reading it:rolleyes:, where she is in bed and the ray of light coming down. I'd like to see the original of that one.

G'MAE all.

Actually, the 5D does have the Green Box mode, but none of the other creative modes. Weird.

You.... you mean my Jeep's not invincible?

I'm not really good on that bevaving thing.

We will. A little shook up, perhaps, but we'll get out.

And if they DID, they should make a day for Enchiladas. Mmmmm.

Enchiladas?

:groan:

By utilizing the Photo Random Generator software that came with your camera. You still have that disk, right?

Me lurves LR.

RTM. Always.

I hate to wait for Pumpkin Pie. I hate to wait for any kind of pie. Enchiladas, then pie. Dang, I'm hungry again.

Yeah, couldn't have planned that better....

Why, thank ye, Friend!

Wow. Looks like you got the hang of multiquoting that time, Puds :D

Yes. Now I like it. Sometimes I find myself sneaking into my camera bag, snapping on the ol' 70-200 f/4 IS and walking around the house while looking through the viewfinder. At first, I only did it a few times a week, a couple of minutes at a time. Then, only socially, with other IS lens owners. Some say it's become a problem, but I disagree. I know that I can quit any time. I just don't want to right now. I mean, it's not illegal, right? I'm not hurting anyone, so what's the big deal? I'm an adult, I'll IS whenever I want. It's not like I'm driving and ISing at the same time, so who cares?

That's like Einstein saying "I wish" when someone mentioned he might know a thing or two about relativity.

That's like Shakespeare saying "I wish" when someone said that he could write.

That's like Barnum saying "I wish" When someone said he could clown around like the best of them.

That's like Jim saying "I wish" when someone mentions that his canoe skills rock.

I could go on and on and on and on...............

G'MAE all

Looks like it was a good time in here last night - thanks for all the multiquotes everyone, saved me the job ;)

Now for an important announcement from me: I'm no longer going to be able to catch up in here all the time. I'm not sure how I'm going to manage it but I'm spending *way* too much time on here when I should be doing other things and I need to sort myself out. I'll still be looking in and I'll try to keep up the best I can but I will be a bit scarcer than normal and I may well not know all that is going on. If anyone has something they particularly want me to see, PM me a link.

Sorry folks, and I hope I can get a bit more back to normal when life settles down a bit. Reading that back it sounds more serious than I meant it - all is fine family wise etc :D - I just have a lot on my plate and need to sort out priorities :)

I don't have many more pics processed of my new granddaughter, I was kinda occupied with her for most of the time. :)

Here is on with me holding Montana & Brenna.
Montana was wanting food at the time. :D

Moooooo Thanksgiving all.

Our turkey is in the oven as well. Stuffing is made and simmering in the croc pot. Did the rolls yesterday so now it's just side dishes to do.

Dan's gone to starbucks First time in almost 4 weeks...but hey, it's a holiday!

Hope you are all going to have a lovely day with friends and family!

fondly,

I didn't see anything wrong with the 77th image in the gallery, and I had a few numbered "077" because of my filing system, but I think I found and fixed what you're talking about... ("will to the mill", right?)

Yeah, Joshua Trees are usually quite a bit scrawnier than that. The ones I took pictures of were a couple unusually healthy specimens I found in that ghost town. I've always said they would be my favorite kind of tree, if they were really trees. They're cactuses. Or, should I say cacti?

Sorry to hear that, Mark! I hope whatever is keeping you so busy is over soon so you can get back to summarizing everything for us! :D I do know what it's like to feel like you have no free time available, though.

My name is Lonnie, but I answer to Thomas too.
