I just checked their website and they have won 3 out of 4 games so far this season. But generally I think they don't do so well. They mostly play Michigan teams and Michigan is BIG on hockey! (like a mini-Canada, lol)

Thats not too bad. Honestly, I really do not keep up with the local hockey team here. I just go to a couple games here and there...missed last season though. I used to go more often when I would get free tickets. I worked at a grocery store here in town and a regular customer who worked at a fast food restaurant would give me tickets often.

I have never been to a hockey game, or a football game or basketball game, for that matter. Unless you count school football and basketball. I've been to a few of our minor league baseball games. Free tickets, lol. And will probably go to more since they are in the process of building a new stadium right behind the building I work in.

Hey, what the hec kinda color is "oxford"? I'm shopping for sweatshirts and one of the color choices is oxford. Does it have shoeprints on it or something??

B&W update from vacation. 1st it took me two weeks to remember to take the film out of the camera and find a place that would process it. Turns out this is true B&W film, our favorite camera store has a lab to send it to for developing. It took another 2 weeks for them to get it back. They got the developed film on Wednesday and were going to do the prints yesterday. They are located over in Rockford where Curt works, so he is going to pick them up. He didn't have time yesterday, plans to get them today. Stay tuned for the outcome.

I was just thinking about this yesterday, and meant to ask you how the prints turned out.
It's funny how you say 'true B&W' I have to go to a specialty store to get my film so that it IS 'true' B&W. Any that is sold 'normally' can't be developed in the chemicals I use. (It's made that way so that people using that film can just use a normal lab to develop it in color developing chemicals.)
I'm anxious to see how they turned out. Do you have a scanner for the negatives? Or are you going to scan the prints?

Hmm, around here 9th grade is the first year of high school. Elementary school is from kindergarten to 5th, middle school is 6th-8th. Except parochial schools usually have grades pre-school through 8th in one building, then the last 4 years in high school.

Same here.

They can't just say 'gray' because it isn't a
solid' color. You know how 'sweatshirt' gray is like... mottled kinda?

LOL! Only shop where there is a picture guide.

Wonder if they ever play our team: http://www.icehogs.com/ (external link)

I've been to a couple of their games. Fun time when there is a group of friends or family.
