YAY! I know that Yoda (over in tupper) gets some great results from scanning his negatives, then processing them on his computer.

Kewl, more playing this weekend.:-)

What?!?! A woman who admits to HATE shopping! For clothes!! It can't be....*thud*

I've never heard of such a thing either.
[QUOTE=cfpackerfan;4195549]I hate it too. HATE it. I can look at a shelf of kitchen gadgetry for hours, but put me in a clothes store and I get CRANKY.

My wife can spend hours shopping....I hate it too. When I have to go buy something, I know what I want and am in and out in minutes.....none of this spending hours and hours in a store. Did I mention I hate shopping....especially x-mas shopping.

My wife lives to shop, she loves it. She will shop for anything. This is great for me in many ways, I have spent a total of 1 hour in a grocery store over the last 20 years. She even will buy clothes for me sometimes, and if it is not what I want will return it. When I clothes shop, I'm like you Robert, I blast in, by lots of stuff in a short time and then I'm outta there for another year.

Fortunately for our pocket book, Lisa does do lots of hunting for deals in second hand stores and has come up with a lot of great deals. Good shirts for $5 that would cost nearer $100 new, and so on.

The only Christmas shopping I have to do is for Lisa and the group thing. I go in at noon on the 24th, and I'm out in 30 minutes.

no, no...

We have this baby carrier thing that fits on your chest. It has a bunting to keep the baby warm. We decided to use the bunting. I was busy trying to fit the baby into the bunting, lifted it to cinch it up. He fell forward, and with his head inches from the floor I grabbed him. I about crapped myself.

And to make matters worse, we finally go to look at the instructions, and it's supposed to attach to the outside of the carrier

Heartbreak Station (external link)maybe? Let me grab my albums out and look at them.

Nope. it wasn't that one. It started out like a good ol' twangy C&W tune, then after about 30 seconds, it changed... I loved the transition! I'd look through my CDs, but I know that was one of my brother's, back when we lived together, not mine. I don't think I even have any Cinderella CDs now...

cfpackerfan wrote in post #4195767 (external link)
Oh, and I'd love to hear the story about your brother and Axl.

Hehehe, there isn't much to tell, really. My brother was pretty active in the local "club" scene in the 80's, about when GnR was just trying to get their foot in the door, and he saw them play quite a few times. He has a demo tape that Axl personally handed to him back then. GnR distributed 500 copies of that tape, and my brother has since seen a copy of it at a used record store with a $1,000 price tag on it.

Anyway, one night at FM Station, a night club in North Hollywood that is now a Mexican Disco, Todd (aka: my brother) and Axl got into an argument. I don't remember what it was about, but Todd decked Axl. Knocked his lights right out... It was beautiful!

I'm sure Axl deserved it. I've always heard he isn't exactly the most pleasant person to be around... Todd still has Axl on his "friend's" list on his MySpace account, even though Axl abandoned the account, running away and crying because he couldn't take the heat from everyone criticizing him in their comments.

There are three bag-pipers playing outside my window. PLEASE make them stop!

We have a neighbour kid who practices outside a couple times a week. He really needs to add a few songs to his repertoire.

I have seen this comedian a couple times, and he is hilarious. He does ACDC, The Stones, and lots of other stuff on bagpipes.

Most of us parents have had those 1/10 second experiences with our kids. We know the heart in your throat feeling. Glad all is well.

WARNING: Christopher is nearing the age where he is going to push away from you without warning. The first couple of times will also give you this 1/10 second panic, heart in the throat feeling.
