Behind each image I like to tell something of a story to explain things, but for this shot there's not much to say, except there was a lobster pot lying in the water during a sunset, and I had to walk out, and get wet to take the shot.

Wonderful composition, Frank. You're right, this one tells it's own story. Usually I take a trip to Maine this week; this makes me miss that even more. Great capture of a beautiful sunset, and thanks for getting into it.

Very nice. The sky is colorful and the lobster trap provides really good foreground interest, and the rest of the scene is left uncluttered. Very nice.

You have quite an eye Frank. Your shots from around The Rock are very well done.

Fantastic photo for sure... i agree with the above poster, i'd run the dodge tool around the trap to get a little detail out of it.

My .02 :)

If you are curious, i ran the dodge tool on midtones and dark, along the lobster trap to taste. Then ran the dodge on mid across parts of the water and sky. Lastly ran the sponge tool on saturate to get just a little more color in the ocean reflection.
