senior pic C&C please

a couple senior pics, any advice is welcome as I am always looking to improve!

They all look a a bit out of focus. Maybe it is just my screen.

They look super blurry. How do you resize them for the web without loosing the focus? any tips? I really like the last one and wanted to see if any one else did.

Its a good picture, but it could use some cropping. There is to much head room (IMO) and is taking away emphasis on the subject. Also, i would have liked there to be a little bit of flash involved to fill in the eye area and add a catch light. And the elbow being cut off...but you mentioned that already. It would be good also if here knees were not just floating in the frame as they are now and her hand cut off.

But very pretty subject and background.

They all look very soft, and I'm not totally convinced that it's because of downsizing for the web either. The first 2 didn't do much for me, they don't seem to concentrate on the senior enough. The 2nd set are much better. Getting there

Nope not blurry - badly pixeled. reefergal save to 800 on the longest side, no SFW and then go open a smugmug or photobucket account and link the images, you won't loose so much detail that way.

What I can see....not a bit fan of the pose in #1, lots of room all around her but she seems sort of crunched into the picture.
#2, I love that shot...something about train tracks and I love that its not the typical traintracks picture, the bridge adds an interesting dimension to it.
#3 isn't bad, its cute.
#4 I would have shifted the camera down and not had so much empty space overhead. But that's just me.

With better quality photos it will be easier to comment on lighting and such. I'm just too distracted by the pixels to look close and get a good view of them.

Thanks for the advice. I do now notice the knees look like they are floating. And the train track one seems to be a fav. among the teen and her friends. I looked at the pics from my other posts and my husband put them on with photbucket. I will have to have him show me how to do that. Thanks again.
