I had placed an order the with Amazon for a Bower SF829TW slave flash. What I ended up getting was a Sunblitz Ai 829tw slave flash. Now, to me it looks generic. Has anyone ever heard of this brand before? I found 1 review online and it wasnt nice.

If it were me, I'd pick up a Vivitar 285 and a Wein digital slave trigger. The 285's been around for years, and is a known quantity. Using it with a digital slave, and taking advantage of its auto-thyristor circuitry, you'll get auto-flash on the deal, plus a flash you'd be able to use on-camera with any camera that has a hot shoe or PC socket.
