i was just wondering how many of you replied to the canon survey after talking to a rep regarding the recall for the camera. if you did reply to the survey, how honest were you about your experience with Canon?

i think that it is a US survey regarding your experience with the canon rep when you contact Canon. it is called: " Canon Telephone Technical Support Satisfaction Survey ". at the end of the survey, they have open space for comments as well as a few questions about Canon in general.

I was very blunt about it. I checked that "my problem was unresolved" because they were, in effect, asking me if the repair was completed when all they had really done was put me on a list. Of course it's unresolved; this was step one of a process that's going to take months, probably.

It was plainly obvious that the survey wasn't designed for this situation. They just sent it out because the decision was left up to a computer that's told to survey everyone they can. If they're going to ask bad questions based on a flawed process, they should get bad answers, especially when they are 100% truthful.

I didnt get the opportunity to complete a survey (called about 5 minutes ago) the guy I talked to was pretty nice though, explained what was going on, and what was being done to fix them, and didnt try and skirt the issue.
