If I could offer a comment, it looks like the area around the neck and shoulder is most in focus in shot # 1 and the mid-section looks sharpest in # 2 & 3. When your depth of field is limited when shooting small critters macro or closeup it is best to ensure that the eyes are well focused. We are naturally drawn to look there and it gives the illusion that the whole image is crisp. Sometimes not taking a photograph can be as problematic as taking one. - Alex Webb
