Hey,

In Ireland, wondering where to buy a 400D. I've already got two EF lenses and a flash from my EOS 300, so lenses aren't an issue yet. Mainly is getting the grip (pardon the pun!) and a large card in the deal - anyone know where such packages are at

From what I can see, offering just the body and with a grip etc, doesn't seem like any do as a package deal :(!

The best bet is to buy from Hong Kong via Ebay. This is who I deal with: http://stores.ebay.co.uk/Kea-Photo (external link). 100% reliable and you don't pay any duty either. Or if you prefer to stick to European online stores try www.pixmania.com (external link) or www.technikdirekt.de (external link). For memory cards use www.7dayshop.com (external link). Don't bother buying photo equipment in Ireland as the prices are too high.

Yup - I'd called my local shop yesterday to be quoth €630 body only for a 400D.
For that price (if it was body only), I'd at least want a remote trigger and largeish card included. Cheers for those links

There are some savage deals in the US, body, three lenses, card etc fr €720!!
Quality of lenses....nope methinks.... I have (Canon) EF 35-80 and an 28-90 with an EW-60C...I'll keep those, get the body only from somewhere reputable.
