Hi guys!

Following problem which only just came up today.
I suddenly can't set any lower ISO number than 200 anymore???

I've got a shoot tomorrow and just can't get the cam to go below 200...fyi, I looked through all CFn's, and didn't find anything suitable. ISO safety shift is disabled and ISO range is set from L to H!

Thanks a lot in advance for your help!

i think between the various forums that i visit, this is about the 20th time that i have seen the exact same question which is why my answer was so short and to the spot.

Would reading the manual help at all, or is it just not very clearly explained?

No disrespect meant to the OP, but this is because people do not either read the user guides anymore, or don't read it properly.

Not true, I've been through it quite a few times I guess, and yet also true, I didn't read into all the finest details...probably because I usually prefer more advanced literature ;)

I actually had a brief search in the manual, but of course didn't get myself to the HTP section.

Yet another time, thanks for the brief explanation - very appreciated!

I think this is another area where Canon does better than the rest - instruction books. Many have had the experience with other brands and other hi tech insturction books that are very poorly written so they do not read their Canon manual. I have a friend who just bought a Sony camera and the book is worthless. Explains nothing.
