I posted my switching Canon to Nikon equipment sale thread here/FM and DWF and receive and email from Mark as:

Your account at the Digital Wedding Forum has been closed per the Buy & Sell forum rules. We have a strict policy that does not allow dealers to use the Buy & Sell forum under any circumstance.

Just because i list almost a complete line of of Canon lens for sale then I'm a dealer?:rolleyes:

Maybe you should be a dealer - you seem to have the inventory for it ;).

I guess the DWF mods are paid and therefore want to be doing stuff. I hope you get reinstated in short order.

Simply tell him how wrong he is then ask for your membership fee refund. ;) (I hope you paid the $149 so you can rip it from his hands.) :D

Did he even ask first?

The DWF mods certainly work hard, but they are not paid for it... Kinda like here.

Surely replying to his email and telling him what's up would clear it up right away? Email that guy who owns DWF, he seems reasonable.

Fair enough ... I assumed they would be since it's a commercial venture. If they're not, they should be! I've only been a member over there for a week or so ... haven't figured it all out yet.

I know Mark personally. He's a friendly and reasonable guy. I'm sure he just assumed that you were a dealer and acted accordingly. They really have to work hard to keep the DWF free from commercial overload so I can see how he would over-react. Just email him and let him know what's up. You shouldn't have a problem.

I sent a PM to Jeff, the guy who owns DWF, pointing him to this thread.

Mark is a really decent guy. I bought my 17-55 IS from him and had the pleasure of conversing with him a few times by phone. I'm sure it was simply an honest mistake on his part.

Jeff from DWF replied to my PM and said he'll deal with it, I guess he's sorting things out. Drop him an email perhaps.
