Welcome btw, I meant to say that in the last post. DUH!
Nice and sharp. Not sure the selective coloring adds anything to this shot personally but its your take on it so we'll leave it be.
#2, I'd deepen the BG a bit, make it a bit more solid black and you're good to go, select the BG and do like -8 or -10 on brightness. It seems a bit reddish too, decrease the saturation slightly or something?
