They cost about $7 and all you need is a hair dryer and a suction cup. The 20D LCD part number is CB3-1831-000 and I’m not sure what the 30D part # is but I am sure a call to Canon can solve this pretty quickly. Not sure why, but call me JJ.

The most I've seen quoted for them is around $20 US. None of my screen covers have suffered any damage, despite the belt buckles they constantly bang against. OTOH, the bottom edges of my bodies are worn through to white. Jon

Oct 26, 2007 17:09 | #6 Ok heres what happend, Ihad a qitzo glass cover on it which is the same one Ihave on my 5D (which I hope doesn't shatter also) and it cracked. (not the Cameras cover but theafter market one) and in trying to get it off (which is a pain in the roayal ass) i scratched the factory cover. I will look around and try to order a new one.
