No other features taken into account. Studio Work with strobes. 70-200 F2.8 lens. Same ISO, shutter and aperture settings.

8x10 print size.

How much of a noticeable difference would there be between the 3 cameras when it comes to the image quality.

Right now I'm using an XTI for studio work and just curious how much if any I might be missing out on.

thanks :)

I know others will argue with me, but to be honest I don't think you'd notice much of a difference at 10x8. There's not that much in it. Ultimately, yes, the 5D has the edge, but at 10x8? I don't think so.

well, i think you would have to determine what the ISO would be, because IMO, IQ would be the same unless high ISO was used.

I only have an xti but from what I gather its really about less noise at that print size.
So at iso 100 you may as well stay with the 400d

I tend to bump my ISO so very much.
A 5D is on my list.

Under those conditions (ISO 100, strobe and studio), you wouldn't notice the difference between a 5D and a D60 (read my sig. folks before you flame).

I agree with Jon and would even go further to say that with those conditions, assuming everything is set up correctly, you really wouldn't see any difference with any Canon DSLR (not counting the old old models with no anti-alias screen), at 10x8 print size.
