Anyone else have any experience with the 'new' IS version of the 18-55 that came out last week?

I picked it up on an 'impulse' buy and so far it seems great - really good value for an 'OK' standard zoom with IS.

Any have any comments?

It's not bad - obviously not as good as the 50 1.4, but good enough for parties etc.

Not sure if it's built the same...it looks slightly different.

I'll try and post a few shots tomorrow.
