Need advice shooting atv races

I will be shooting with a 20D and a 70-200 is usm 2.8 lense any helpful hints would be much appreciated what are some good settings to try Thank you in advance.

"toy's" canon Eos 5DII lenes canon EFS 17-85 IS USM and a B+W circular polerizer canon 70-200L is usm 2.8 with a B+W uv haze filter.

Well, you have top notch gear to work with. I've never been a filter fan. I do all my effects in post production.

My basic settings on my 20D's are: AV mode, ISO to suit (200 to start), center point focus, aperture of f3.2±.

If you are gonna drag your shutter, a monopod sometimes helps.


A 40D, a 30D, some nice glass and a great Shooting Partner.
