These two are my first macro shots I ever took, with my first ever DSLR, I didn't know what i was doing really, I still don't, but defiantly knew less at the time of these pictures. Was done with XTI and Kit. It was tough cause this little flower is about the size of a nickel was tucked away in a hard to reach spot. I've taken a few sharper macro shots since then, but these are still my personal favorite. I tried some post work with them played around with the brightness and contrast, it looked nice and trippy, but artificial so I posted the originals, dark as they are.

If anyone knows the name of the flower please reply!

Good colour,focus and angles - like to see more thought on composition though.

Belongs to the bluebell/hyacinth family I think.

Thanks LordV, the flower is long gone but hopefully it will sprout again in spring.
