Although I've got a 40d body on order I've just been given a link to a set of wedding pictures from the official photog of a family wedding about a month ago.

Had my 350d + 24-105 out with me for it as I like snapping the offshots and I'm amazed at how much better the shots look from my equipment than the official guys.

He was using a 40d + 28-70 f2.8 and a 400d with something on the front - with a ex580 mkII and a 430ex yet almost every photo that is of a comparable shot/angle looks better on the 350d setup.

Not sure if it is becase I was shooting in raw and manually processed everything and he's jpg'd it - or just crappy compression on his online gallery but it is definitely making me think twice about maybe cancelling the 40d body and looking at more lenses, but then again its not all about IQ, handling, focusing etc are big points too.

I'd post links to a comparison but I'm not to keen on linking directly to another persons online gallery!
