Senior Football Picture

I was asked to do a pictures for 9 senior football players. I have 2 AB800's with umbrellas, I also have some cheap Steve Keiser strobes (4). Does anyone have any examples on how I should shoot this! It can be indoor or outdoor. There mascot (a warrior). I think all of the boys will be in Green & White. I am at a loss here because I was asked to take it this morning and tommorow they want me to take it. Please... any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks

Group shot or individual?

GROUP SHOT

You don't need all that lighting. Go outside and use the light there. Do it later in the day, close to sunset so the sun will be down behind the treeline. This will give you great lighting for the group and then you can use an on camera flash set to -1 to -2 FEC for fill. I usually split that at -1 1/2. If you try to rely too much on your lights to expose the group, you're gonna have to make sure you have your lighting set up evenly for the group which is really just too much un-needed work. If you only use flash for fill, it's going to be exposed properly throughout the frame, and then the flash can fill in the shadows.

Do you need to know how to pose them as well?
