Some of these images are not up to the standard of the first batch I posted, but I figured they were worth posting. In some cases it was unique poses or a bird I've never photographed before (the Moorhen for example). As always, C&C welcome and appreciated.

Anyhow, here we go:

1. Immature Snail Kite: "This is my best side!"

2. Adult Snail Kite - female: "Hey! Read the sign buddy!"

3. Adult Snail Kite - male:

4. Bald Eagle in flight. This is a pretty severe crop. I just liked the pose on this one:

5. Anhinga. I couldn't get him in the right light - or with a good background:

6. White Ibis. Dang branch! No way to get around this I'm afraid:

7. Turkey Vuture: "Hmmm, you look a bit too healthy - but only a bit!"

8. Little Blue Heron in flight. This was take in the very, very early morning light

I hardly know what to say as I'm completely amazed. They are ALL so nice, but I really LOVE the Snail Kite ones, esp. the one sitting on the 'endangered snail kites' sign! Classic. You must have been thrilled to death with all these. Can't see the Little Blue for some reason. It's not coming up:(

What a great series of shots and a wonderful array of species. I'd say #1 and #4 are my favorites but you've done real well with all of them. And the Little Blue would not come in for me either. Would loved to have seen it!

Excellent series Ed. These are all so good I'm jealous. The Ibis, at first glance, looks like me when I have my arm on the end of the couch. I wouldn't worry about it, his expression is what I was looking at anyway. ;)

Nice shots indeed!

I think the branch adds to these shot IMO :) And the pose on the Anhinga make up for the lack of light, well at least the light is in his face :)

All very cool shots!

Thanks Ira.

Thanks Rob. I thought long and hard about it. I don't think the left would be too hard, but the tail feathers would be a problem. I just chalk it up to an "almost" picutre :)

Thanks Mitch, EZ, Dennis & Tom. I appreciate the comments!
