The D60 wants FAT16 file system, so won't handle 4 GB cards without much extra effort. And I wouldn't buy more than an Ultra II for the D60. If you intend to move up in the next year or so, think about something faster, but if you're content with the current camera, speed's not an issue. Jon

Hi thanks for that I had a feeling there was some limitation on the d60 (must have read it in the manual when i oringally got it), good think you pointed it out. I am thinking of purchasing another camera in the next year or so and use this as a backup. However, if you upload your pictures via cardreader instead of through the camera, it will make a difference.

in that case I will buy a dedicatd card for this d60 rather than something I will put into the next camera I purchase. http://www.robgalbraith.com …ti_page.asp?cid=7700-6012 Canon 6D - Canon 24-105L, Canon 70-200 f2.8 is, Sigma 12-24mm, Sigma 105mm macro, , Canon 50 f/1.8, Canon Speedlite 420ex, Kenko 1.4x & 2xteleconverter, Kenko extension tubes, Joby Gorillapod SLR Zoom.

I seldom fill it up and it's faster than the camera. Did you lose Digital Photo Professional (DPP)? Get it here

I couldn't tell the difference between my Extreme III and an el-cheapo while taking pictures, but I could when I was uploading from a card-reader. A really cheap card can be had for around $10 or so.
