Hey,

Just ordered my 400D from 7dayshop.com, along with a 2GB card, two spare batteries and a tripod, all for about £410 shipped to Ireland...not at all bad.

Decided against buying on eBay due to possibly crap accessories and dubious/difficult warranty! I have some EF lenses from my EOS300, so they'll go straight over, and a Soligor MZ series flash...I know..Speedlite will be next on the list!

:) It's mainly just have to shoot randomly until I find my niche and buy the applicable glass.
However, Mrs PB was mentioning "why don't we take photos of each other" at one stage...

Can you briefly explain what these are?

I'm building a valve amplifier for second-year varsity project class.
Just the transformer alone is £130. And you thought photography was expensive :D.

That 300B in the back could buy you a 400D

Nothing quite like the sound of a valve-driven amp (tubes, for all us Yanks)...

Ooohhh! Tubes are fun! ;) Just recently got rid of all my tubes, and both of my tube driven oscilloscopes...

Please tell us when you get it and how long it took from 7Dayshop. Cheers.
