I want versatility. I want to have lenses for a "bit of everything".

I want to do landscapes when I go on vacation or trips or just around. I want to photo portraits or "candids" (probably NO studio work currently). I want to photograph my pets and family's pets. Their kids. Indoors and out. I want to go to weddings and do weddings. I want a bit of nature but not too much. I want a versatile camera and lens.

I am thinking of adding these:

Canon 5d (body)
Canon 24-70L f/2.8
Canon 85L f/1.2

To my current setup:
350d + kit lens 18-55
70-200L IS f/4.0
430ex

(tripod coming on its way)

I would keep the 350d mainly attached to the 70-200 for that "extended" reach.

Do you think this is good enough? or should I change something on it?

Landscapes? 17-40?

Though the 24-70 is good I'd rather get a wide lens like the 17-40, save some money, and enjoy it. Both would be even better. :D

5D and 85/1.2 are really nice.

For starters, I think you have an excellent plan. After using the 24-70 on the 5D for a while, you will be able to determine if you feel you need an ultra-wide. Ultra-wide lenses are definitely not for everybody.

I have shot landscape type shots with anything including the longest lenses I have. In my opinion, the often-heard advice that an ultra-wide lens is "needed" for landscape photography is rather poor advice.

I think that's a good plan.. 24-70 looks awesome on a 5D, I can't wait to own a FF camera just for that lens :p

Good lens/camera body combination for any sort of low light work and portraiture/weddings, too...
