This AM at East Point in Biddeford Pool, Maine - all w/ the 500mm & a 1.4X hand held on BushHawk - Any idea on the Sparrow? Thanks, Bob

Mitch, I would say it was on the big side for a Sparrow - how about the white bar on the wing? B

My next guess would be a Song Sparrow. They are very large for a sparrow, but I couldn't see the "stickpin" on his chest to confirm it. Song Sparrows have a large center dot in the middle of the chest. :)

Love that Nuthatch, nice and sharp, perfect light and the B/G really makes the bird stand out and a touch of fall in the corner...well done...steve
