It doesn't automatically go to the last shot taken, it will go to any random image on the card. I haven't touched any of the settings/C -functions so I don't think that it is anything I have done. _______________

Then when I take a shot it goes to last shot taken. Not a problem for me as this is how all my other bodies have operated. Paul

Yeah all my other bodies have operated the same as well, as did the 40D until recently. I have no idea what is causing this to happen.
