Aero145- I couldn't agree more... I've used the 5D extensively for the past year and have one due on my porch Friday... I've seen and used the 10/20/30/40D's and they don't compare to the 5D in terms of what I specifically need in a camera- low-light, high ISO shots... I really do believe most people on this board agree with that, the price of the 5D justifies it... But everyone is entitled to their own opinion I suppose...

Hi again Sadowski,

Yes, I think the 5D really holds the title - still - smoothing out noise whilst losing detail isn't really what one would call good ISO performance, rather an "in-built NR tool".

I got the 5D yesterday, quite nice, though I'm surprised I don't really like the handgrip of it.

Maybe it's the heaviness of it compared to the 20D that lets me feel this way - and also because I'm ill, I have much less power. :-P

Noise-wise, I think the 5D sucks, but that's only because the screen shows a lot more noise than 20D's screen. I know very well that on a computer screen I'll smile with the noise performance. :D

Regards,
Aero
